THE WORLD'S LARGEST GREAT BARRIER REEF


 Coral reefs can be considered as a region inhabited by the most charming creatures among the deserts, big mountains , snow - filled lakes and great forests on the earth. Among the Coral Reefs, the GREAT BARRIER REEF is located in AUSTRALIA.  This is truly an amazing located in the natural world. 




It covers an area of about twelve hundred miles. A Reef eight hundred feet long and eighty thousand miles across. Referring to its location, it is located on the NORTH EAST COAST of AUSTRALIA. 



 

This Great Barrier Reef , which can be considered as the king of aquatic life, is also home to other animals. Species such as crabs that live in water and many other small birds have made their habitat here. When talking about corals, today we can see about two thousand five hundred species of living corals. Sea  Shark            Since childhood , I have been very interesting in finding information about marine life.  Among them , sea shark has a special place.  What is said about the sea shark is mostly the most horrible and thrilling stories. The sea shark is a wise animal. he is known by several names.  Sea shark often rest in the deep sea. A special feature is that they sleep with their eyes open.  The white shark has a special place among sharks.  An adult shark has about 20 000  teeth     in it's mouth.  As mentioned above, details can be given about the sea shark. MY SCHOOL

  My school is Kuliyapitiya Central Collage. It is located near Wayamba University. My school is a mixed school. More than 3000 students are studying my school.  There are classroom from grade 6-13 and I studied there in the Art Section.   My school is spread in an area of about 10 acres. A Dental,  4  Laboratories , a swimming pool, a stadium, an auditorium, principal and teacher in my school. My school is called SATHKORALAYE  PAHAN  THARUWA.  This collage was ectablished on 03.02.1947.. Also , this school became a national school on 23.07.1991.  It is a matter of pride that my  school has achieved many achievements at that national level as well as at the international level.
