  MY FAVOURITE COUNTRY TO VISIT IS MALTA.                It is a European country. It is a 7 island nation in the Mediterranean sea  in Southern Europe. The national languages is Maltese . Remains of prehistoric cultures can be seen in Malta. What made me like this country so much is the rock formations and very clear shallow sea. The official religion of Malta is Roman Catholicism.  The music art called " GHANA " which belongs to the traditional music art of the famous all over the world. The music system has been created by combining the tradition guitar playing with the human voice in the folk song tradition.  I really like the food tradition of Malta. Soups, Pastas and Pasties are the specialties of the country. Dishes filled with different types of meat and spices are also popular in the country. 

  CHERRAPUNJI    It is located in the Eastern Kasi Hills District of the Indian state of Meghalaya.   This city is considered to be the most humid city in the world. " Cherrapunji " city full of beautiful views is also considered as a tourist city.  Annual precipitation Cherrapunji is 11 430 mm.   In winter the North Western Moon soon rains  and the resulting water passes through the Brahmaputhtra valley.                                    This city has also entered the Guinness book of Records because cherrapunji city received the most precipitation in a year and the mosst precipitation in one month.  The town known as  " Charrapunji " but in the past its name was " SORAI ".      Despity heavy rains every year, the people of  Cherrapunji face water scarcity. they walk for miles to fetch water. Sea  Shark            Since childhood , I have been very interesting in finding information about marine life.  Among them , sea shark has a special place.  What is said about the sea shark is mostly the most horrible and thrilling stories. The sea shark is a wise animal. he is known by several names.  Sea shark often rest in the deep sea. A special feature is that they sleep with their eyes open.  The white shark has a special place among sharks.  An adult shark has about 20 000  teeth     in it's mouth.  As mentioned above, details can be given about the sea shark. Also today there are number of horror movies made about sea shark .  EX: Deep Blue Sea         Shark Bait         The Shallows          Jaws          The Reef   etc......

GALL  FORT          I have visited Galle Fort once. A little information about that can be given as follows.  Galle fort with an area of 92 acres has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Galle fort was built the portuguese.  Laater this came into the hands of the Holland.  This is the Fort.     Galle fort located in the Galle district of the Southern Province.  The main gate of Galle fort is semi-circular and made of black stone. After the fort was taken over by Holland, it was improved according to Holland architecture. Today , this has become famous among local and foreign tourists.

  My school is Kuliyapitiya Central Collage. It is located near Wayamba University. My school is a mixed school. More than 3000 students are studying my school.  There are classroom from grade 6-13 and I studied there in the Art Section.   My school is spread in an area of about 10 acres. A Dental,  4  Laboratories , a swimming pool, a stadium, an auditorium, principal and teacher in my school. My school is called SATHKORALAYE  PAHAN  THARUWA.  This collage was ectablished on 03.02.1947.. Also , this school became a national school on 23.07.1991.  It is a matter of pride that my  school has achieved many achievements at that national level as well as at the international level. 

  The traditional methods of chines art we are unmatched by any art in the world. It was influenced by the decorative methods of shepherds who lived in the northern pastures with abstract shapes. Among them were silk cloth, Stone were, Pottery and Ivory carvings.                                            Brass vessels were used in the religious rituals of the chines people. They were decorated with the shapes of animals and various symbols depicting the fertility of the land.........  Chines art flourished during the " TANG  DYNASTY " .   Dambulu Temple is a historical and archaeologically important temple. One of the largest and best -  preserved cave temple complexes in Sri Lanka, believed to have been built during the reign of King Walagamba . There are about 80 cave temples in The Dambulu temple complex. The painting and Buddha images here are connected to the life of  Lord Buddha.  An area of about 2100 square meters has been created with precious murals.                                         In Dewaraja Viharaya, Mahaa Viharaya, Maha Aluth Viharaya and Pashchima Viharaya paintings belongoing to the Kandy period can be seen.  My favourite Musician is Ustad Allaudhing Khan . He was born on 6th September 1862.  A Sarod player / music composer / teacher in Hindustani Classical Music . He was born in India.                      His first music education was from his elder brother. He left home  at 10 and joined Gopal Krishna Battacharya in Kalkatar and he became on of his best pupils.
